Pete Heats Up (and Heath Speaks Up).

By the time this post goes live, there’s a pretty good chance that part 5 of Pete, Drinker of Blood will be available for Kindle, and possibly Nook (it’s already available on Smashwords, and will soon be on iBooks and Kobo and whatnot via the SW distribution platform). Advance response to this installment has been great so far — things get crazy in this one, and it ain’t gonna let up from here on out.

Meanwhile, here’s a look at the cover of part 5 (vampire props courtesy of Patricia Rogers and Scott Denning, photo by Sarah Bartsch):

My damnable nephew Heath, USMC, used to be skinnier than me until he was apparently injected with the Super-Soldier Serum and blew up like a big ol’ muscular balloon. Now, to make matters worse, he writes a blog that’s much funnier than mine. One day he shall pay. If I wanted to make his life miserable, I could tell some good stories about him when he was a kid, but I think everybody already knows those stories, so it would get me nothing.

Long day today, which means a short post. Tomorrow: dogs and flying things.

Don’t forget to come see me and all kinds of cool guests at the Albuquerque Comic Expo, June 8-10 at the Convention Center.

I’ll leave you with a short film I had some involvement with. Possibly NSFW, definitely stupid.
